Hwange National Park, situated in western Zimbabwe, is the country's largest wildlife reserve. Covering approximately 14,650 square kilometers, it is renowned for its large elephant population, with over 40,000 individuals roaming the park. The park's diverse habitats, including savannas, woodlands, and salt pans, support a wide array of wildlife, including lions, leopards, and endangered wild dogs. Hwange is also known for its extensive network of waterholes, which attract numerous animals, especially during the dry season.
